Prof. Dr. Albrecht Jahn from Heidelberg University October 27, 2022. The main purpose of this visit was to get acquainted with THE-GLOW project lead at Thammasat University and project partners in Thailand: the Asian Institute of Technology and Kasetsart University.

THE-GLOW Project Kick-Off Meeting Marks Progress

Our project’s kick-off meeting was held on July 06, 2023. Hosted by Thammasat University’s Faculty of Public Health, this event marked a big step forward in our journey towards achieving our project goals. The event brought together key members from five partner institutions: Thammasat University (TU), Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Kasetsart University (KU), Heidelberg University (HU), and Maastricht University (UM). In addition, representatives from public, private, and non-government sectors also joined, sharing their diverse perspectives and valuable insights. The objective of the meeting was to share insights from a thorough situation analysis conducted by the partner institutions. These insights shaped discussions that outlined the project’s plan. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our partners and representatives, as their contributions were crucial in making the kick-off meeting a success. Curriculum Design Workshop

THE-GLOW curriculum design meeting was held on September 20, 2023 and hosted by the Gender and Development Studies program (GDS), Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). The event brought together eight faculty members from three partner institutions in Thailand, including Thammasat University’s Faculty of Public Health, Kasetsart University’s Faculty of Agriculture, and GDS-AIT. The objective of the meeting was to discuss the theme, structure, and delivery of courses, based on the strengths and capacities of each partner institution. We deeply appreciate the participation of all faculty members and look forward to the next meeting in October.
