Visit from Maastricht University to Thailand

Prof. Dr. Anja Krumeich and Dr. Gonnie Klabbers from Maastricht University (UM) paid a visit to Thailand during May 01-04, 2023. The main purpose of this visit was to conduct training needs assessment of the THE-GLOW project as preliminary findings to report to the project’s kick-off meeting in July 2023. The training needs assessment was successfully conducted at the three Thai partner institutions, namely Thammasat University (TU), Kasetsart University (KU), and Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). The Gender and Development Studies (GDS) Program at the School of Environment, Resources and Development (SERD) of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) inaugurated two new smart classrooms on 17 January 2025. This state-of-the-art facility was developed under the project, Transdisciplinary Higher Education for Global Wellbeing THE-GLOW project, an EU Erasmus+ initiative aimed at transforming higher education by equipping future workforces with transdisciplinary skills to address global challenges.
